New Website!
Thursday, 22 April 2010 04:47
Today is an important day. It is the first step towards an improved Million Dollar Script. The new Million Dollar Script website is finally ready!
This website will allow you to sign up and ask for help in the community forums, post comments, make suggestions, report bugs and errors and more. By participating in the website and the community you can help to improve the script and make it better for everyone who wants to sell pixels from a website.
The Million Dollar Script was recently passed to a new coordinator. I will be updating this script, fixing reported issues, and improving security and stability. A new website was launched and you can expect a new and improved release of MDS in the near future.

Be sure to check in the README.txt file that comes with the script. You must unzip the zip file that you download.
Also you can check the FAQ out.
I am still copying some of the troubleshooting tips over from the old support section but many of those will be outdated in the next release since I am converting everything to a framework. So I haven't taken the time to copy it all over yet but I will do that and update the documentation and FAQs for the new version in the process once I am closer to being done the new version.
Are the orders completed and approved?
Congrats on your acquisition - look forward to seeing new version soon
Also one more thing i found which can be improved is to have the same header for all the pages in your script. I am not sure how many pages are there. I am still working on that.
@majid Copyright info where exactly? The pixels show only the pixels and no copyright.
However if you want to remove it from the /users section you should read the GPL agreement this software was released under. I believe it states something along the lines that you cannot remove copyrights from code. You can comment them out so they don't show up on your site I believe though. It also has some other interesting points you might want to check out. www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html
The original author of this software seems to have charged $10 to remove the copyright notice but I don't believe I have added the page with that info into this site yet and furthermore I don't believe it is necessary to pay $10 to remove it as it is released under GPLv3 and you can simply comment it out in the code.
To comment it out in the code edit includes/functions.php and search for Quote: near the bottom and simply add a /* before the ?> and a */ after the < ? php line below that. Comment messed up my post.
Basically its illegal to remove the copyright notice from the code, but if you read the license you will see that I have to notify you within 60 days or some such thing and you can just add in the copyright back and its all back to normal. So basically its free software, do what you want but leave the copyrights in the code.
Perhaps you might be able to clarify how I can go about using this grid system and set up to sell pixels on my site.
many thanks...think this is a really great item
cheers, Brian
This is now a free script released under the GPL. The original author at one time charged a fee for it but has since then released it under the GPL.
For help setting up the script see the README file that comes in the zip and check out the FAQ and Documentation sections of this site.
